Brook Lopez made three 3-pointers and the Bucks made six in a 28-12 run over the final 6:35 of the second quarter as the Milwaukee Bucks have jumped to a 71-52 lead over the Brooklyn Nets.
Lopez has made 5 of 9 3-pointers for the half and leads the Bucks with 18 points.
The Nets had crawled within 43-38 on two free throws by Kennety Faried with 6:52 in the half before the Bucks caught fire.
Khris Middleton’s turnaround jumper from the left baseline started the run. A D.J. Wilson 3-pointer started the barrage of triples and made it 48-38. From there, Lopez made three and Middleton added two as the Bucks started to pull away. Wilson’s jumper with 0.2 seconds left capped the run.
Middleton has 14 points, Malcolm Brogdon has added 11 and Giannis Antetokounmpo has 10 points, six assists and five rebounds.
Shabazz Napier leads the Nets with 14 points.
