Prior to the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend, Amjyot Singh, arguably India’s greatest basketball player, experienced indicated that he experienced signed with the Wisconsin Herd, the G-League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Not only experienced he confirmed it to NBA.com/India but he experienced also posted this on Instagram:
Then, on Monday afternoon (near midnight Tuesday IST), the franchise confirmed the information:
The Herd additional F Amjyot Singh to the team’s roster to fill the roster void while @xaviermunford plays for @usabasketball.
Singh most just lately played for the @okcblue. When Singh initial joined the Blue, he was the just the 3rd Indian-born player to maintain a @nbagleague roster place pic.twitter.com/GffYY89Nrx

As is rather visibly apparent, the announcement mentions that Amjyot has been additional to the roster given that Xavier Munford will be representing Usa Basketball in round 2 of the 2019 FIBA Planet Cup qualifiers.
The announcement does not ensure or indicate Amjyot’s potential with the workforce when Munford returns from nationwide obligation. As things stand proper now, Munford would not be out there to the workforce at minimum right up until February 25th (United State’s last team activity in the next round of the qualifiers).
Amjyot’s initial prospect to play for the workforce will come on Thursday morning when they experience the Raptors 905 (G-League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors).
Remain tuned to this house for more on Amjyot’s time in the G-League.
