Giannis Antetokounmpo has returned, and so has the Milwaukee Bucks’ offensive flow.
Antetokounmpo recorded 20 points, six rebounds and four assists in 16 first-half minutes as the Bucks took a 63-51 lead at the half at Fiserv Forum.
After missing the last two games with a sprained right ankle, Antetokounmpo came out of the chute quickly, scoring the Bucks’ first 11 points. He scored nine more in the second quarter, including a 3-pointer moments after giving fans a scare by going to the floor holding his ankle again.
He stayed in the game after a timeout and is a huge factor in the Bucks’ shooting 57.1% (24 for 42) in the half.
Antetokounmpo has made 9 of 11 shots.
Khris Middleton has added 12 points to the Bucks’ total.
Kelly Olynyk leads the Heat with 11 points, including two free throws with 0.2 seconds left in the half.
