For the third time this season, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will sit out a game.
Antetokounmpo, who went for 27 points and 21 rebounds Wednesday night in a 116-109 victory at Houston, will miss tonight’s game with a sore right quadriceps and left hip.
The Bucks have won the two previous games Antetokounmpo ha sat out. a 124-109 victory over Toronto Oct. 29, and a 108-92 victory over Cleveland Dec. 12. He is averaging 26.6 points and 12.8 rebounds.
The Bucks own the best record in the NBA at 29-11 and are hitting the midway point of the season.
The Wizards (17-25) have lost star guard John Wall for the season following heel surgery.
