The Indiana Pacers learned a hard lesson in the third period: Don’t get Giannis Antetokounmpo mad.
Antetokounmpo picked up a technical foul after a no-call on a play he drew a lot of contact, and his fury sent the Milwaukee Bucks on a 13-0 run that helped them to an 84-72 lead after three quarters.
Antetokounmpo was sent hard to the floor on a dunk attempt by Myles Turner and Wesley Matthews. When he showed his displeasure, referee Nick Buchert added a technical foul to Antetokounmpo’s sour mood.
From there, the Bucks star dunked off an offensive rebound, assisted on two baskets and added another dunk. Khris Middleton also chipped in two baskets, and the Bucks went from a 67-64 lead to 80-64.
Middleton leads the Bucks with 23 points, and Antetokounmpo has 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
Myles Turner leads the Pacers with 18 points.
