Giannis Antetokounmpo is dominating the Washington Wizards inside, and his 24 points have helped the Milwaukee Bucks to a 73-50 lead at the half.
Antetokounmpo is 12 for 12 from the free throw line, and the Bucks are 19 for 19.
The Bucks are also shooting well on 3-pointers at 10 for 21 (47.6%) and from the field (51.2%), going 22 for 43.
Antetokounmpo, who did not play in the Bucks’ 113-106 loss at Washington back on Jan. 11, went 3 for 3 in the first quarter and 5 for 5 from the line for 11 points. He’s 8 for 11 for the half.
The Bucks have also defended, holding the Wizards to 38.5% (20 of 53) shooting, including just 3 of 15 (20%) from behind the arc.
Brook Lopez has added 17 points, including three 3-pointers, and Khris Middleton has 11.
Thomas Bryant leads the Wizards with 12 points. His dunk with 7:57 left in the half pulled the Wizards within 45-38, but Bryant would not score again, as the Bucks went on a 28-9 run before Otto Porter Jr. closed the half with a 3-point play with 1.1 seconds left.
