Giannis Antetokounmpo moves to 11th on Milwaukee’s all-time scoring list

Milwaukee Bucks small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is now 11th on the Bucks’ all-time scoring list, surpassing guard Ricky Pierce.

Antetokounmpo accomplished the feat on Thursday at home against the New York Knicks.

The next player for Antetokounmpo to pass is power forward Terry Cummings, who scored 9,290 points as a member of the Bucks. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is Milwaukee’s all-time leading scorer. Kareem scored 14,211 with the Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo still doesn’t have a 3-point shot, but he is still averaging 26.4 points per game on the season. The Greek Freak does all his damage from the paint, as he shoots 80.1 percent at the rim on the year. Whenever Antetokounmpo does get a 3-point game, the rest of the league better watch out because the game is going to be even easier for him.

Antetokounmpo is shooting 58.4 percent from the field this season and has guided the Bucks to the second-best record in the Eastern Conference.

There’s still plenty of season left in the NBA regular season, with the NBA trade deadline still looming in the shadows, so a lot can happen between now and the playoffs. Just a little something to keep in mind as the best player on the Bucks continues to impress and set records.

De'Aaron Fox, Iman Shumpert, Kings
