Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 21 points in just 19 minutes as the Milwaukee Bucks routed the Orlando Magic, 113-91, Saturday night at the Fiserv Forum, improving to 6-0.
Antetokounmpo fought through the effects of an elbow to the face from Orlando’s Aaron Gordon in the first quarter, returning for short stints in the second and fourth quarters. Truthfully, his services were not needed, as the Bucks stretched their lead throughout the night. Milwaukee led by as many as 31 in the fourth quarter before coach Mike Budenholzer cleared his bench.
Khris Middleton added 18 points, Malcolm Brogdon 16 and rookie Donte DiVincenzo 15 as the Bucks are now off to the second-best start in franchise history. The 1971-72 team started out 7-0.
The Bucks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 125-95, Friday night in another rout. They’ve scored more than 110 points in each of their six victories.
Center Nikola Vucevic led Orlando (2-4) with 16 points.
