Three straight 3-pointers have pulled the Milwaukee Bucks within striking distance, but a late 3-pointer by Dennis Schroder helped the Oklahoma City Thunder stem the momentum and take an 89-79 lead into the fourth quarter.
The Thunder led by as many as 19 points, but two 3-pointers by Khris Middleton and one by Sterling Brown suddenly pulled the Bucks within 82-75. The Bucks were within 86-79 and ready to pull within five when D.J. Wilson missed two free throws with 28.1 seconds in the period. Schroder then drilled a triple with 6.1 seconds left to give the Thunder a 10-point edge.
Paul George leads all scorers with 24 points.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 10 points in the period after going without a field goal in the first half and scoring just three points.
