Facing one of the few teams to have beaten them this season, the Milwaukee Bucks are set to take on the Charlotte Hornets at Fiserv Forum.
The Bucks opened the season with a 113-112 victory over the Hornets in Charlotte, a game in which the Bucks led by 20 points before barely holding on at the end.
The Bucks returned to Charlotte and suffered a 110-107 defeat on Nov. 26. Tonight marks the Hornets’ first visit to Milwaukee this season. The Bucks are 5-0 in first meetings with a team that has beaten them. They are 6-0 in games against teams to have previously beaten them, having beaten the New York Knicks twice since the Knicks scored a 136-134 overtime victory on Dec. 1.
The Bucks, of course, are led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was named an all-star starter for the third straight year on Thursday.
The Hornets boast a three-time all-star of their own in Kemba Walker, who scored 41 against the Bucks back on opening night on Oct. 17. He’s averaging 25 points per game.
