Playing with high energy, the Detroit Pistons have taken a 62-56 lead into the half of Game 4 of their NBA first-round playoff series.
Reggie Jackson has 20 points, including a high-soaring tip-jam with 1.9 seconds left in the half that electrified the Little Caesars Arena crowd.
Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the Buck with 17 points. Milwaukee has struggled at the free throw line, making just 14 of 23, and the Pistons’ swarming defense has allowed the Bucks to nly get off 11 3-point attempts. They’ve made four.
Brook Lopez is 3 for 3 from the floor but hasn’t attempted a 3-pointer.
Detroit jumped out to a 20-8 lead in the opening four five minutes, but the Bucks trimmed it to 28-26 by the end of the quarter and took a lead early in the second quarter.
Jackson scored 11 of his points in the final 5:54 of the second quarter as the Pistons led by as many as 10 but have not been able to shake the Bucks.
The Bucks are looking to sweep a seven-game series for the first time since 1983 when they swept the Boston Celtics.
