The Milwaukee Bucks are playing with a long memory.
The team that racked up a huge record in “revenge” games earlier this year, has taken a 67-46 lead at the half over the Los Angeles Clippers at Fiserv Forum.
The Bucks lost to the Clippers way back on Nov. 10, a 128-126 overtime defeat.
The Clippers show well to open the game, making four 3-pointers in the opening five minutes for a 16-15 lead, but the Bucks took over from there.
Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the way with 23 points and five rebounds, and Khris Middleton has added 15. Sterling Brown also has broken double figures with 10 points.
Danilo Gallinari, Landry Shamet and Montrezl Harrell share the Clippers’ scoring lead at eight points each.
The Bucks held a modest 28-25 lead after one before outscoring the Clippers, 39-21, in the second quarter.
Milwaukee is shooting 55.8% (24 for 43), while the Clippers cooled considerably and are at 36.4% (16 for 44).
