Shorthanded and short on points, Bucks trail Cavs

Playing without two of their starters and one of their replacements, the Milwaukee Bucks are finding points at a premium.

Shooting just 38.5%, the Bucks trail the Cleveland Cavaliers, 58-47, at the half in Quicken Loans Arena.

The Bucks have seven players out and have just nine available. One of those players is Bonzie Colson, who was called up from the Wisconsin Herd of the G League. Colson was signed to a two-way contract back in January.

Khris Middleton is the only Bucks player having any success. He’s connected for 18 points, going 4 for 4 on 3-pointers.

Middleton is the only player in double figures for either team.

Collin Sexton leads the Cavaliers with nine, and Cedi Osman, Brandon Knight and Jordan Clarkson have eight each.

The Bucks have made just 18 of 47 shots. Eric Bledsoe has nine points.

The Bucks are playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle), Malcolm Brogdon (plantar fascia tear), Nikola Mirotic (thumb), Pau Gasol (ankle), Sterling Brown (wrist), Donte DiVincenzo (heel) and George Hill (groin).
