Making a strong stand, the Milwaukee Bucks have put a huge dent into the Miami Heat’s big halftime lead.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Ersan Ilyasova led a big third quarter, and the Bucks have trimmed what was as big as a 23 point deficit down to a single point entering the fourth quarter.
The Bucks trailed, 62-42, at the half, but Ilyasova’s 3-pointer from the right corner with 0.9 seconds left cut the score to 80-79.
Ilyasova scored 10 points in the final 3:07 of the period, and Middleton scored 10 in the period. Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks with 22 points, Middleton has 21. Ilyasova’s big period gave him 12 for the game.
Justise Winslow leads Miami with 20 points but did not score in the third period.
