A balanced offense helped the Milwaukee Bucks build a 22-point lead, but the New Orleans Pelicans chipped if down to 101-89 entering the fourth quarter.
AFter a first half in which the Pelicans shot 33% (19 for 57), the Bucks bolted out to a 28-14 rush to start the third quarter. Eric Bledsoe’s 3-pointer gave them an 84-62 lead with 6:43 left in the third.
But the Bucks let down after that, and the Pelicans closed the period strongly.
The Bucks scored 45 points in the third, but allowed 41, as the Pelicans made 17 of 26 shots (65.4%) after an awful first half.
