Bucks holding strong, lead Spurs, 60-54, at half

Giannis Antetokounmpo is showing no signs of soreness in his knees playing on the second night of back-to-back games, and he has helped the Milwaukee Bucks to a 60-54 lead over the San Antonio Spurs Sunday night.

Antetokounmpo has posted 14 points, eight rebounds and four assists, and Eric Bledsoe also has 14 points, as the Bucks seek their third straight victory on the heels of their first back-to-back losses of the season.

The Bucks led by as many as 15 points in the first period, the last time at 32-17, before settling on a 32-25 margin. San Antonio got as close as 36-35 before the Bucks pushed it back to 57-45 on Khris Middleton’s short jumper with 2:59 in the half.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored back-to-back buckets, and Bryn Forbes made a 3-pointer to cap a 9-3 closing run.

Aldridge leads the Spurs with 14, but is just 7 for 15 from the floor. DeMar DeRozan has 12 but is just 4 for 10.
