Hot-shooting Bucks lead Kings, 73-62, at half

The Milwaukee Bucks are carefully monitoring Giannis Antetokounmpo’s minutes tonight as he battles knee soreness, but the way his teammates are playing, Antetokounmpo’s services aren’t essential right now.

Malcolm Brogdon scored 15 points, and Khris Middleton chipped in 13 as the Bucks have taken a 73-62 lead over the Sacremento Kings at the half.

In a fast-paced game, the Bucks are shooting 54.7% (29 for 53), including 10 of 23 from 3-point range. The Bucks shot 65% (17 for 26) in a 39-point second quarter, outscoring the Kings by 10.

Eric Bledsoe and Nikola Mirotic have each added 10 points to the Milwaukee offense, as the Bucks have matched the Kings’ offensive pace.

Antetokounmpo has played just 10 minutes, scoring five points. Bledsoe also has six rebounds and six assists for the Bucks.

Harrison Barnes leads the Kings with 12 points, and De’Aaron Fox and Bogdan Bogdanovic have 11 each.
