Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns will miss his second straight game with a concussion tonight as the Milwaukee Bucks look to extend their winning streak to four games.
The Bucks (44-14) ar looking to continue their latest hot streak that has seen them go 15-2 in their last 17 games.
Milwaukee defeated the Boston Celtics, 98-97, Thursday night in the first game back from the all-star break. The last time the Bucks were 30 games over .500 was when they ended the 1985-86 season at 57-25. Milwaukee is on a pace to win more than 60 games. The last time the Bucks won 60 games was the 1980-81 season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, as always, leads the Bucks in scoring (27.2), reboounding (12.7) and assists (6.0). He posted 30 points, 13 rebounds and six assists against the Celtics.
Towns leads the Timberwolves in scoring (23.1) and rebounding (12.0). He suffered the concussion when the car he was riding in was struck from behind on a Minneapolis freeway. He missed Friday’s 115-104 victory at New York, the first missed game of his four-year career.
