Bucks set to take on Wizards without Bledsoe

Guard Eric Bledsoe will sit out tonight’s game at Washington with a sore left Achilles’ as the Milwaukee Bucks try to win their third straight game and ninth in their last 10.

Coming off a big victory at Toronto Thursday night, the Bucks are looking to extend their lead over the Raptors to two full games.

Tony Snell will start in Bledsoe’s place, with Pat Connaughton likely to see minutes off the bench. Bledsoe is averaging 15.8 points, 5.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game.

The Bucks lost to the Wizards, 113-106, back on Jan. 11. The Bucks have not been beaten twice by the same team yet this season and they are 7-0 in rematch games against teams that have beaten them.

The Bucks have won seven of their last nine road games and have won 15 of their last 18 overall.

Bradley Beal scored 32 points for the Wizards in the Jan. 11 meeting, a game in which Giannis Antetokounmpo sat out with a sore right quadriceps.
