Hoping to match their seven-game winning streak to open the season, the Milwaukee Bucks face a stiff road challenge this evening against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Led by stars Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Steven Adams, the 30-18 Thunder are third in the Western Conference.
George leads the Thunder in scoring at 26.9 points per game, Westbrook averages 21.9 poings, 10.8 rebounds and 10.7 assists, although his shooting percentages are down at 41.8 and 24.3 on 3-pointers. Adams checks in at 15.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game and is shooting 61.2% from the field.
At 35-12. the Bucks have two fewer losses than any other team in the league. In their current six-game winning streak, the Bucks’ smallest margin of victory was Friday’s 108-99 victory over Charlotte, a game in which they outscored the Hornets by 20 in the fourth quarter.
The game is another chance at a national showcase for the Bucks and All-Star captain Giannis Antetokounmpo, as it is being telecast on ESPN, along with Fox Sports Wisconsin. Antetokoumpo averages 26.9 points and 12.6 rebounds per game.
