Poor shooting, even on opportunities in the paint, have plagued the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, and they take a 54-52 deficit into the half against the Charlotte Hornets.
On a frigid Wisconsin winter’s night, the Bucks have made just 3 of 17 3-pointers and are shooting just 41.7% (20 for 48). One of Milwaukee’s many misses came on a breakaway dunk attempt by Giannis Antetokounmpo in the first quarter, as he double=clutched and hit the ball off the front rim.
The poor shooting is especially noticeable from reserves, as Bucks bench players are a combined 2 for 13.
The Bucks have done a fine job on Charlotte’s Kemba Walker, who has just four points in 19 minutes.
The Hornets do not have a player in double figures but do have six players with at least six points. Jeremy Lamb’s nine tops the Hornets.
Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks with 14, Khris Middleton has 12 and Eric Bledsoe 10
