Giannis Antetokounmpo will return to the Milwaukee Bucks lineup this afternoon against the Atlanta Hawks after missing Friday night’s 113-106 loss to the Washington Wizards.
Antatokounmpo, who averages 26.6 points and 12.8 rebounds, missed Friday’s game with quadriceps and hip soreness.
The Bucks are playing the Hawks at State Farm Arena in Game 3 of a three-game road trip. The Bucks return home Tuesday for a game against the Miami Heat before two more road games — Wednesday at Memphis and Saturday at Orlando.
Milwaukee is 1 1/2 games behind Toronto for the league’s best record entering Sunday. The Raptors were tied at 124-124 with the Wizards heading into overtime.
The game also marks the return to Atlanta of Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer, who coached the Hawks the previous five seasons.
