The Milwaukee Bucks utterly destroyed the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night at Fiserv Forum, resulting in their fifth straight win and improving on the NBA’s best record.
From opening tip to the final buzzer, the Milwaukee Bucks were in total control of the game, in their black uniforms on their alternate Fear the Deer court.
In perhaps the most impressive and lopsided single quarter of the NBA season, the Bucks put up 43 in the first quarter, while giving up only 14. After putting up another 33 and 42 in the next two quarters, the fourth quarter was left for the reserves to get some extended run and simply let the time run out.
The fifth straight win in fascinatingly easy fashion, occurred on the eve of perhaps the biggest Eastern Conference matchup of the regular season to date. The Toronto Raptors come to Milwaukee on Saturday night, with the eventual result potentially impacting future playoff standings in April.
Before moving on to Saturday’s tilt, let’s take a closer look at the Bucks’ individual efforts from Friday night.
