Macolm Brogdon put up 11 first-quarter points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 34-27 lead after one quarter over the Toronto Raptors in a battle of the Eastern Conference’s top two teams.
Brogdon capped his big quarter with two free throws with 3.1 seconds left as the Bucks shot 54.5% (12 for 22) in a high-energy period.
The Bucks made three 3-pointers early in jumping to an 18-10 lead. The Raptors rallied for an 11-2 run, taking a 25-23 lead, but the Bucks closed the period on an 11-2 run.
Kawhi Leonard and Fred VanVleet led the Raptors with seven points each.
