Knicks take first-quarter lead over Bucks

In a near carbon copy of Tuesday’s game the New York Knicks have taken a 28-24 lead over the Milwaukee Bucks.

They led, 24-22, after a quarter on Christmas Day.

Luke Kornet, son of former Bucks player Frank Kornet, leads the Knicks with eight points, including two 3-pointers.

Khris Middleton leads the Bucks with 12 points. He’s 0 for 2 on 3-pointers, but 5 of 6 otherwise.

New York took a 23-13 lead on a running one-hander and a 3-pointer by Kevin Knox before the Bucks went on a 9-2 run. Allonzo Trier’s 3-pointer with 3.6 seconds left gave the Knicks their four-point advantage.

The Bucks went 0 for 6 on 3-pointers in the quarter after going just 6 for 32 on Tuesday.
