Those Milwaukee Bucks who dominated some opponents in a 7-0 start appear to have resurfaced.
Boasting a huge effort from their bench, the Bucks have roared out to a 65-48 lead at the half over the Boston Celtics.
The Bucks fell behind, 10-1, at the outset, then turned on the jets. Milwaukee outscored the Celtics, 57-22, over the next 16 1/2 minutes to take a 58-32 lead.
Milwaukee dominated so thoroughly that Celtics fans were booing their team at a timeout with 4:50 left in the half.
The Celtics did respond from there to close the gap with a 16-7 run to close the half.
Khris Middleton leads the Bucks with 17 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo has 11 and Tony Snell 10. Snell is 4 for 4 shooting, with two 3-pointers. Middleton has three from behind the arc in six attempts.
Kyrie Irving is the only Celtic in double figures with 11.
The Bucks also hold a 31-13 margin on the boards.
