Milwaukee Bucks go 2-2 on West coast road trip

Dairyland Talk discusses the Milwaukee Bucks 2-2 record on their most recent West coast road trip as well as the week ahead.

The Dairyland Talk is back for its Week 2 Podcast: Milwaukee Bucks‘ edition. This week Dairyland Talk hosts Dylan Piccolo and TJ Bain take a look back at the last four road games for the Bucks. Also, we touch on the Jimmy Butler trade and the power rankings for the East. The Bucks have 3 games this week and we are excited about what the future holds for this team. Let’s take a look at the preview for the Podcast and what the Bucks can do to improve those two road losses.

The Bucks split their Western Conference road trip going 2-2 last week. They had an off night against the Trailblazers losing 103-118. CJ McCollum had a monster night dropping 40 points against Milwaukee and Evan Turner with a surprise 16 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a solid 23 points and 9 rebounds but the Bucks just couldn’t do enough to stop the red-hot shooting of McCollum.

The team bounced back in a big way by absolutely dominating the defending champs at Oracle Arena. The Warriors were short-handed with Draymond Green sitting and Golden state lost Steph Curry midway thru the 3rd quarter. That didn’t stop Milwaukee from bringing the heat with Giannis just owning the court that night. The Greek Freak was getting to the bucket with ease and not to mention Eric Bledsoe stepping up dropping 26 points. This is the type of game the Bucks wanted to world to see and the league is now on notice.

We finish off our Podcast by looking at some weekly MVPs and which player was the most underrated for those 2 big wins on the road. The East has just got a lot more intriguing with the addition of Jimmy Butler to the Sixers. Many experts have the 76ers above the Bucks in the most recent power rankings but we couldn’t disagree more. The Bucks are playing at an elite level and we look to prove they are the best team in the East.

What do you think of the recent power ranking and how does the Jimmy Butler traded effect the Bucks season going forward? We love to hear from you and your season predictions in the comments below.
