C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard scored 13 points each as the Portland Trail Blazers took a 57-51 lead over the Milwaukee Bucks into the half.
Brook Lopez kept the Bucks in the game with 16 first-half points, including four 3-pointers. Giannis Antetokounmpo has 13.
The Bucks fell behind by as many as 11 before mounting a rally led by Antetokounmpo. The Greek forward assisted on a Lopez 3-pointer and scored the next two on drives to the basket to pull the Bucks within 51-47. Antetokounmpo’s reverse dunk capped an 11-2 run that cut it to 53-51 with 3:21 left in the half.
The Bucks went scoreless from there, but the Blazers managed just a free throw and a 3-pointer from McCollum in that time to take a 57-51 lead to the break.
Portland has outrebounded the Bucks, 26-21. The Bucks have not been beaten on the boards yet this season.
