Pat Connaughton contributed five second-quarter points to go with three rebounds and an assist as the Milwaukee Bucks pushed out to a 65-51 lead at halftime.
Connaughton signed as a free agent over the summer after playing in all 82 games last season with the Portland Trail Blazers. He contributed seven points and seven rebounds in Friday night’s 125-95 victory at Minnesota.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, who briefly went to the locker room in the first quarter after being hit in the face, returned in the second quarter. His 3-point play with 3.8 seconds left pushed the Bucks to their 65-51 lead. He leads the Bucks with 15 points.
Khris Middleton added 12 to the Milwaukee attack. The Bucks have attempted just 12 3-point shots, making five.
Guard D.J. Augustin leads Orlando with 11 points.
