A group of four will be vying for the 15th and final roster spot on the Milwaukee Bucks opening day roster. Tim Frazier, Tyler Zeller, Christian Wood, and Shabazz Muhammad will be duking it out in Bucks Battle Royale.

The Milwaukee Bucks have their roster just about set for the 2018-19 season with 14-guaranteed contracts on their roster. The 15th contract which is currently held by the non-guaranteed Tyler Zeller is now up for grabs as the Bucks brought in a group of players that are trying to get on their opening day roster. Before the Bucks play their first preseason game, let’s see who has the early lead in the race for the 15th spot.

4. Tim Frazier

The Bucks brought in Frazier to battle for a position in the point guard group that includes Eric Bledsoe and Matthew Dellavedova. Frazier has had some success in the NBA most notably with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2016-17 where he started 35 games and averaged 7.1 points and 5.2 points.

Frazier has an uphill climb to make the roster after the Bucks waived another point guard,  Brandon Jennings, in August, and there is some positional versatility with Malcolm Brogdon and obviously, Giannis Antetoukounmpo which can limit the number of touches at point guard for the Bucks.

If Las Vegas was weighing on how to handicap who wins this race, it would be hard to look past the depth that is ahead of Frazier. If there was another roster spot open it would make sense to bring Frazier on the roster, but as it stands now it appears that Frazier will be on the outside looking in.

Odds: 30/1
